Guide to the puzzle player

Welcome to this quick guide to the puzzle player on Jigidi.

In this guide, we'll show you where the different functionalities are located on the solving page.

The main navigation

The main navigation on the jigsaw puzzle solving interface consists of 4 buttons in the upper right corner, which are tools for you to use when solving your puzzle.

In the upper left corner, you find the Jigidi logo. A click on the logo will bring you back to the page on which you found your puzzle.

  1. Zoom in and out to get an overview
  2. Go to fullscreen to immerse yourself in the puzzle experience
  3. Open side panel for solving tools (see below)
  4. A dot at the edge tells you in which direction to look for a missing puzzle piece

The side panel

In the side panel, you'll find several tools you may need while solving the puzzle. The side panel has two modes. One mode while solving and one after completion.

Side panel while solving a puzzle:

 

  1. Preview image. You can click the pin to make the preview image stick when the side panel is closed.
  2. Information about the puzzle and also a link to the creator’s profile page.
  3. Pause. You can also pause by using a shortcut
  4. Restart.
  5. Background colors.
  6. Settings for timer and sound. The system will keep your settings preferences till the next you change them.
  7. Change the number of pieces (please note that the completion message and time tracking follow the original size).
  8. Link to this help page
  9. Link back to the puzzle page. Here you can connect with fellow puzzlers and the creator of the puzzle ☺
  10. Here you can report a puzzle if you find it may violate our guidelines.

Side panel when the puzzle is solved:

 

  1. Information about the puzzle and also a link to the creator’s profile page.
  2. Your solving time.
  3. Restart.
  4. Share the puzzle with your friends via social media or email.
  5. Change the number of pieces (please note that the completion message and time tracking follow the original size).
  6. Show the completion message from the creator of the puzzle (please note that not all puzzles have a completion message attached).
  7. Link back to the puzzle page. Here you can connect with fellow puzzlers and the creator of the puzzle ☺.
  8. Here you can report a puzzle if you find it may violate our guidelines.
