My Daughter-in-law's favorite color is army green so I crocheted this for her Birthday! She seems to like it. I made one in variegated camo colors for Jayden but forgot to take a picture before I mailed it :-( The yarn was very fluffy...kind of like mohair.

Thanks Sparkie :-)) It is! The yarn looks like mohair but isn't.

So pretty and looks real warm and cosy ♥♥

dhi

Yes, I did not even read the "inches". LOL

nanapuzzler

LOL!! I meant 3 feet by 5 feet in size. 3x5 inches is hilarious!

dhi

Good for you.

Thank you all!!
dj I too love the larger hooks for speed and ease :)) @sillychick Thanks Twin

Donna, this yarn was very lightweight and it's about 3" by 5". Jayden loves his camo blanket because he says he can use it for a Ghillie suit :-D

@jandchris Thank you so much.

Thanks Ellen, Jean, Cyndi and BB. I hope they will last and be treasured long after I am gone. This is what I was doing all those days I missed on jigidi ;)

nanab

This is a beautiful crocheted piece nanap, well done!

Isaly2

You did a beautiful job on this afghan Nancy. I am sure your daughter-in-law will cherish it for years. Thanks for sharing it with us.

myself1935

Good for you, and l am sure she will treasure it, Nancy-

PutterDutt

A lot of work, but it will be treasured, I'm sure.

jandchris

This is gorgeous - I love the colour.

dhi

Well done, Nancy. That looks like quite a large throw. I think it must have been heavy to work. I suspect Jayden loved his.

I always use larger hooks than called for. Makes for a bigger afghan (which I prefer) and goes oh so much faster!!! *LOL* This one looks beautiful. :-)) dj

nanapuzzler

My first attempt was crooked...apparently I was adding stitches...so I had to rip it out and start over with a larger hook so I could see the stitches better (old age).
