Wellllll, I used to solve the puzzle in two "L"s, working from the outside in, with the piece pile off to the side. But to fit it all on my little laptop screen, was a real challenge! So now I leave the pile of pieces in the centre of screen, but zoom out a little, and then I build the outside border around the pieces, and work in "stripe" by "stripe" into the middle. I also don't try to find ALL the pieces for each stripe. If I've found most of them, and can't see any more without moving the pieces around in the pile, I just move on to the next stripe. I'll find the missing pieces as I go, and can just add them in then. It used to take me about 100 minutes to solve one of these. And now I can mostly solve them in around 70 minutes. (❛ᴗ❛)

What is this new technique?

I've developed a bit of a new technique with these, which is different to how I used to solve them. And it's shaved about 20 - 30 minutes off my solving time! (❛ᴗ❛)
