Loved reading all your comments - such a pleasure when the grands are still little ☺☺☺☺ I miss that and our nearly 3 year old and nearly 6 year old are overseas and we are missing out on all the fun with them - just waiting to be able to visit them - praying for the end of the year or maybe march next year ♥♥♥ Glad you all enjoyed this ... and the prices of games and puzzles here are pretty OUTRAGEOUS !!!!!!!!!
We have 8. I love Quirkle - great for teaching kids colour and shapes, then matching them. Eventually the actual game. The grandies we play with are 5, 7, 9 and 11. They all love nanna and pappa game times, and we are so glad. We start to teach them card games soon. This was a great puzzle - thanks sparkie dear**
I've got 11 also...2 are different than dbird's list (Catan and Settlers) but, ages 8 thru 12, my friend and I played Parcheesi by the hour. I still have that old board at 74!!
So many favourites here - scrabble upword boggle candy land operation, we also loved to play pictionary trivial pursuit monoploly rummikub cards - we did have such fun family times - sadly the kids of today do not play board games (our grandsons played with us until they were 13 and 10 - they also used to do jigsaw puzzles with us) then they got ipads and that was the end of it all -so so so sad ☻☻
