Here I am, walking across the street made famous by The Beatles on their Abbey Road album cover. My husband took the photograph. We had lots of fun in London during our four day visit after a 14 day Princess cruise. Lucky for us it was during the 70th anniversary of VE Day, and we enjoyed seeing many parades of marching bands, all dressed in beautiful kilts with their bag pipes. Also many military marching bands and Queen's Guards everywhere. Jets flying overhead, the works! We even met up with Prince Charles, followed by his enormous entourage, walking through St. James park! It was a fabulous trip, one we will not soon forget...Bernadette

It was a wonderful end to a very nice cruise! Can't wait to go on another cruise, but it may not happen for a while with Covid running rampant!

Thank you Roseann, nice to meet you! I was in the ninth grade in high school when this album was released. I've been in love with the Beatles and their music since 1964. Best group ever, in my humble opinion! Have a fun filled day @pickle

LOL! I hope you got a laugh at me walking across this street! I know it's kind of corny but it was a thrill for us! We had a lot of fun with all the other people trying to get just the right picture while dodging cars. It is a very busy road...Bernadette

Oh I love this picture Bernadette - I know you are a massive Beatles fan so this is so important for you, and a lovely souvenir. I love that little dog behind you - he is probably thinking I am so glad that lady isn't taking me for a walk, I would never be able to keep up with her. :-))
