"Upper Canyon Falls" I shot this photo in the rain with my wife holding the umbrella over us. The Sturgeon river is a Nationally designated "Wild and scenic" river. The Sturgeon river gorge, farther downstream where Sturgeon Falls is located, the gorge widens and deepens, becoming a mile wide and 300ft deep. This is the "Grand Canyon of Michigan".
