The North Eastern Railway Class H, classified as Class Y7 by the London North Eastern Railway was an 0-4-0T locomotive specifically designed for shunting duties. Originally introduced by Thomas W. Worsdell in 1888. The class numbered eventually numbered 24, with No 985 being built in 1923. At the time of nationalisation in 1948 only two examples remained. NER 985 became 8088 under the LNER in 1946, and finally 68088 under British Railways. She was sold to the National Coal Board in 1952 and purchased by the Y7 Preservation Society in 1964. In 2016 she was moved to the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway and Museum where she remains to date.
