Why are you reporting this puzzle?

This is my Cody who I gave away because I had orders to Turkey.

Thanks for coming by, llong33! Could have been, but I believe we thought he was a poodle mix. :)

Wonder if he was a Shi-Tzu...

Rainrider1214

Yes it does. Lovington NM is the same way.

redina1

This was taken way back in 1991 or so. I'm sure he did like his short hair cut; it gets pretty hot in southwest Oklahoma in the summertime.

Rainrider1214

I bet he feels a lot better now. All that fluff in summer can't be good.

redina1

He was a really good boy, and didn't care how he looked. Thanks.

Rainrider1214

Poor naky puppy

bevpuzzler8

So sweet!! To bad you could not have smuggled him into going to Turkey with you.

Just being silly. I know you miss him!! 12-19-21

Kaycys_Creations

@redina1 Thank you and enjoy when you can. I don't always have time to do everyone else's puzzles so I understand.

redina1

@Kaycys_Creations He did look like a different dog. :)) Welcome to jigidi, by the way. I enjoyed your unicorn, and will check out your other Creations. :))

Kaycys_Creations

So cute! What a difference between the before and after grooming!

nanab

I'm sure he had a blast with twins, as much as they did with him, and there must have been plenty of love to go around.

redina1

I guess you are right, nanab. They were a young couple with twins, so I'm sure Cody was plenty distracted and loved them.

nanab

AWW So happy you had 5 years with him, sorry you still miss him.
You shouldn't regret anything redina1, you had orders to leave and
when you returned Cody was probably well acclimated into his new home.

PutterDutt

I do.

redina1

It's still awful. I think you know what I mean. :(

PutterDutt

He looks like a sweetie. It must have been awful to have to give him up. :::Hugs:::

redina1

Yep, that's my Cody with and without his overcoat. :)

ParsonWayne

Are you SURE it's the same dog, Redina?

redina1

Thanks, mother. I always laughed because he looked so dumb with all the hair, and so intelligent after grooming.

redina1

@PutterDutt
We went to the pound and there were 4 grey puppies and one brown one in the pen. I was deciding which grey one I wanted, when the brown one sat on his hind legs, looked at me and barked. That ended the dilemma. I had Cody for 5 years, but when I got orders (Air Force) for Turkey, I gave him to a coworker. I dropped him off at a ball game, and walking away I heard him crying. We looked for him two years later, but didn't find him. I think we didn't look hard enough. This is pretty close to the top of my long regrets list. He was such a smart, good boy.

What a beautiful dog!
