@Heicel one of our daughter has been living in Sweden for 15 years, so that means we have been to Sweden quite often. A very beautiful country, of which we have already seen a lot. :-))) ♥
I know about these ferries - coincidentally I lived in Kiel for 6 years when I was a child :-)! It's a pretty town, full of red brick houses and with the 'Förde' where you can take a long stroll on the Hindenburgufer! I LOVE Sweden and - lucky me - have very good Swedish friends as well. (Which means I have 'the one and only real' recipe for Köttbullar ;-)
@Heicel We always drive through Germany when we visit our daughter who lives in Sweden. We drive to Kiel and take the boat there, which makes the transfer. So we drive on the highways all the time and then we miss the beautiful places. :-) ♥
@Heicel quite coincidentally my daughter and husband stopped by here, they came from Germany, they were there for a weekend. they were in Bingen am Rhein. :-))) ♥
@Heicel very sweet of those Belgian friends. I don't know what country you live in and what your cooking specialties are. I try everything myself, we eat a lot of different foods from different countries here at home. :-))) ♥
I do, Raaike! I just had dear Belgian friends visiting - and they just love my cooking, no matter when I prepare it ;-)!! I got a refrigerater magnet saying 'Someone in Belgium loves you' :)))!
