Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Double-crested Cormorants have impressive fishing technique: diving and chasing fish underwater with powerful propulsion from webbed feet. Their feathers do not repel water like a ducks allowing them to ride low in the water, with sometimes only their necks and heads showing. "The tip of a cormorant’s upper bill is shaped like a hook, which is helpful for catching prey. When cormorants happen to catch a crustacean like a crayfish, they exhibit a little flair in eating it—hammering the prey on the water to shake its legs off, then flipping it in the air and catching it headfirst for easy swallowing." I agree they would be fun to watch... I've only seen them above water drying their wings after a long dive. They look positively prehistoric sometimes. Here's a link to a video of one diving. https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/news-events/big-features/little-known-facts-cormorants-lake-renwick

It would be fun to watch them! Thanks for this pic!
