Sounds like fun, Val. You're welcome.

We used to paint these when we were children thank you Jacki☺♥

Maybe there's some critter around here that does the rubbing part as I've never had to do that. Though it does take a bit of sunshine to see them as clearly as we do with the two in front. Maybe I should try the rubbing and see what happens. Thanks and hugs

Where I grew up a neighbor had some of these. I seem to have memories of in the fall sitting and rubbing off an outside coating to uncover the while "money" Would that be right, Jacki? That neighbor lady would arrange them in a vase for a fall decoration. Thanks. ♥Hugs♥

:-)

Yep, I remember them, It makes sense (cents?) ;-)

bluebird42

You got it, Ed. ;-)

Me too, Shirley. I was going to put them in the bank, but they wouldn't let me deposit them. ;-)

Thanks, Saavik. I never saw them until we moved down here to the Cape, so I'm delighted with them! The seed pods are about the size of a silver dollar (if you remember those). I assume that's how they got the name money plant.

SaavikLeary

Those are so neat :-)
