Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Daphne Odjig (1919-2016) was born on the Ojibwa Wikwemikong Reserve on Manitoulin Island. The visual motif central to her work is the circle, which to the Ojibwa signifies completion and perfection and is symbolic to women. This motif is characterized by undulating, rhythmic lines, often heavily outlined, enclosing soft harmonious shades of colour. Her works focus on human relationships in the context of First Nation culture: the importance of elders, the function of the family unit, the universal theme of mother and child.
