Arundel (FitzAlan quartering Maltravers)
Why are you reporting this puzzle?
From the frame of a mural of saint George. Its owner was one of a group of aristocratic English pilgrims who commissioned murals in a chapel nestling within a tower of the fortifications of Rhodes, and accessible only from the wallwalk. They apparently visited the island in the last years of the 14th century; they may well have been Lancastrian partisans who prudently left England for the East roughly at the time of the execution of Richard FitzAlan, Earl of Arundel, in 1397.
