I used to make these with my Grandmother. She usually made 4 of them to take to her lodge meetings, but we got in the habit of making an extra one for me to take home for the family. This picture has made me want to make one soon...haven't made one for 8 or 10 years, but I do still have all of Grandma's recipes! Thanks for posting, it was a fun puzzle to solve.

I don't think that would work with a crusted cheesecake, and "toppings" would be flat.

It's actually baked upside down. The toppings go in the pan first, then the batter. (:
