Is a twister the same as a tornado? I live in a smaller size town in MA, USA. We had a tornado go through the area on June 1, 2011. It was awful in the areas it hit. I told My husband it looked like a war zone in town. It was scary. We, my children and I went into Our basement ( also 2 dogs ). Many people loss there homes or had severe damage. Praise God We were safe. Also Our friend Nancy. She lived in a large Senior mobile home park. Nancy went into her bath tub, With pets. My husband was stopped on His way home from work. The town was locked down. We knew one family from church whose Home was totally gone. They moved away. No one was home.
