Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Tim Thompson is a contemporary British marine painter. Using thin washes of oil paint, Thompson slowly builds up his highly detailed paintings of maritime battle scenes and billowy sails. “Color and movement are vital components in my work,” Thompson has said. “It is important that I see exactly how the sails of a yacht are formed when she is rounding a mark or how the ocean appears during a storm.” Born in 1951 in Hull, United Kingdom, Thompson is a self-taught artist. In 1982, Thompson rose to prominence after meeting the media magnate Ted Turner, who has commissioned him to paint several of his yachts. The artist lives and works in Cornwall, United Kingdom.
