Beaulieu has been home to the Montagu family since 1538, when Palace House was created from the Great Gatehouse of 13th-century Beaulieu Abbey. Beaulieu is now home to the National Motor Museum, which tells the story of motoring with a collection of more than 250 vehicles ranging from the earliest carriages to legendary Land Speed Record breakers.

To the village yes, but not the palace, cars are not my thing and it's a bit pricey to get in. The Abbey is lovely though, and just a bit further on is Lymington where you want to go and spend all your money! Lol. Hampshire really is a splendid place to live, so pretty, and lots to see and do. A great move on my part. :D

It is. There is also an Abbey, and a lovely village where ponies and donkeys from the New Forest just wander through. Its adorable.
