He left school aged sixteen after sitting his GCSE exams in order to further his career as a professional actor.
He became a United States citizen on November 4 2014.

His first major US TV series was "Eli Stone" where he played the titular character from 2008-2009. The show fared well in it's first season but dropped during the second series so was cancelled.
