Ninety seven degrees outside today in Virginia . The tea was made strong so that when poured over ice ; it didn't dilute . Beautiful vintage glass is a lone soldier in my collection.

I shop for vintage at Goodwills and thrift stores. The vintage glass cost a whopping 50 cents

Sounds like a good buy!

I bought two of those water decanters at Goodwill a few years ago. Since I moved from northern California to the southern Oregon coast I seldom drink iced tea. It's seldom hot enough to work up that kind of thirst.

I opt for a Corona Lite on really hot days. Only 33 degrees C here right now heading for 35 .... I melt at 30!

It is 99 degrees here in Northern California, scheduled to reach 102. It IS forecast to get to 108 tomorrow. Thank goodness for air conditioning. Smoke from Dixie Fire isn't as bad as it's been. I'm drinking my iced tea right now but not in such an elegant, vintage glass. Like the decanter, too.
