Today I visited my best friend and her kitty boy Dorus. He's such a mommy's boy and can't get enough of tummy rubs. He'll present his tummy and whilst my friend rubs it he'll lay his hind leg over her arm.... what a guy!☺☺
I bought him this little catnip toy (sitting in front of him) for his 3rd year's Anniversary he's with her. He did give the toy head rubs, but I couldn't actually get him to play with it. I guess the outside world (his neighbourhood) where he roams during the day has more interesting things to explore! ☺
He's a real sweet kitty boy!

LOL Patsy, good question.....not really no, she claims it's hard to do knitting when he's around. She's knitting (or at least tries to) a shawl for the coming cold and she showed me the result so far. Dorus has allowed her to knit about 40 cm....but at this rate I wonder whether it will be finished before it gets too cold!:)

LOL Patsy, it sounds your cat did exactly what Dorus did. I tried a few times by playing peek-a-boo with the toy and he did give it a gentle hit, but that's all! :))
He doesn't have many toys in the house, but outside he's very active chasing insects and mice! He's an excellent mouser and takes them home to surprise her with a present:)
He does have an interest in the threads when my friend is knitting!

Really good to see Dorus again. And nice to hear that you got to spend time with your friend.
Today I gave a new catnip toy to one of our cats. When I held it, he rubbed his head against it a lot. But that was all. The toy is now on the floor waiting for somebody to notice and play with it. Did Dorus finally decide to play with his new toy?

Aww, thank you, Anne, I will ask my friend to pass on your message to Dorus. Oh yes, she's so happy with him!:)

He has his moments, Marilyn. I tried some of the 'triggers' to get him play with the toy, like they used to work for Goofie upto his high age, but Dorus is different, eventhough he's still rather young, according to my friend he's not that playful. But he's sweet and that what's important!:)

Oh yes, Faye, he's so enjoying those tummy rubs, (I mentioned to him those were from you☺☺). J. just needs to sit down and he'll go sit next to her on the couch and wants his tummy rubbed! He's turning into a lap cat lately too! I'll post another photo of him in a moment on which it really shows what a 'softie' he is!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
