Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I just bought 20 Golden Sebright Bantam chicks, and they included a free rare breed chick in the order. This is the breed I think that little guy is.

(Irina) Congratulations! He is a male and it is noticeable.

LinM

What a stunning breed, @Surreal_Heidi !

irina_p_5

Поздравляю! Он самец и это заметно.

Bubble

I'll bet !

Surreal_Heidi

The Mille Fleur turned out to be a little male. He's loaded full of personality, too.

irina_p_5

Хайди! Красивая птичка.

Сколько пород!!! Только что узнала.

Bubble

He certainly rules the roost Heidi - very pretty bird. (^‿^✿)

Surreal_Heidi

I'll be able to tell in the next 2 weeks if it grows hackle feathers.

ParsonWayne

You can probably tell if it lays an egg later.

Surreal_Heidi

The Freebie turned out to be a Mille Fleur!!!!! I don't know yet if it's male or female.

@Surreal_Heidi Hi Heidi. I don't want to put this post on the puzzle from Ellen as there are a lot of people tracking that one, however, do you have Ellen's phone number or email address so that I can contact her personally. I don't want to ask her on that puzzle for everyone to see?

Surreal_Heidi

The little freebie Bantam is looking like it IS a Partridge Cochin, so far.

Surreal_Heidi

The 16 turkey poults have just been shipped, and will arrive ~ 6:30 AM on Wednesday.

I have been chased by other roosters but not as colorful and confident as this proud guy!!! Thank you for this special puzzle and some different memories in the hen house.

Watchman

What a nice-looking bird, I hope that is what he is. Mister Fancy Pants.

ParsonWayne

Keep him out of the pear trees, Heidi.

That is a proud guy!

Surreal_Heidi

Yep.... there are a bunch of breeds that have feathers on their feet. In the standard sized breeds, the most common feather footed breeds are Cochins, Brahmas, Sultans, Faverolles and Langshans. In the Bantam breeds, the most common feather footed breeds are the Cochins, Silkies, Belgian D'Uccles, Mille Fleurs (the most common Sablepoot color) and Porcelain D'Uccles. There are other feather footed breeds in both sizes, too.

He is a handsome bird! Does he have a wife and babies yet?

PutterDutt

Pretty bird! He has feathers on his feet?

jojosmom417

Please do let us know if this is the one, because it is so pretty! Sherry

Surreal_Heidi

Probably in a few weeks.

jojosmom417

Heidi, how long before you know for sure what the chick is?

Funny ! Thanks a lot !
