Found it... (ver)drijven = drive out/expell, I wasn't far away with my SC.-autotranslation lol! I thought English only had 2 expressions for 'drive' (to control steeringwheel in a moving car or boat, or a need/reason to have or accomplish something). I love to learn new things every day. :-))

You're so right Betty 'Drive My Blues Away' is a song from Muddy Waters! :-))
& it's also meant as in to: verdrijven/ to drive out haha. ;-))

I 've heard a phrase "Driving your blues away" maybe in a song?

A meant to chase/dispel not drive... lol I accidently literally translated the Dutch word 'weg te 'drijven'... :-P
