After its success in pecking off a large piece from the suet block, the Jay dropped it into the bird bath before retrieving and eating it!

LOL. I was thinking modest in colors rather than modest in manners. Somehow Blue Jays and modesty, don't really fit in the same sentence!

Jays seem to "bite off more than they can chew"! Nice that he retrieved it from the bird bath so he had a clean meal. A great photo of him, Lorna.
