Double Japanese Iris, Almost Open

Some photos from my garden, which I took today. I hope you will enjoy solving and seeing them!
We planted a single Japanese iris years ago. It was picotee--white with a delicate border of purple. It has been morphing around my yard from seeds dropped by birds (or magic--not sure which!) in different shades of purple from almost white to this quite dark one, which is sometimes single and now we have several plants that have these amazing double blossoms.
