These parakeets are completely wild, and don't tolerate humans very well and will often fly away if disturbed. Saying that, they do make a nice addition to the already colourful selection of birds that visit the feeders.

Ahh, one lived with my family for 23 years, just passed last June, coming on a year now.
Max, well-loved, so smart, would give 'kisses' until I quit...He is surely missed...K
