Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Tommy Whiteshoes and Curious George were as surprised as I was when I-Don't-Do-Outside Cat joined the meeting on the sidewalk. After a quick greeting, she set all the spiders on the woodpile straight, then zipped back inside.

@Vtsnowangel thank you, i'm glad you are enjoying them. i wish i had a picture of the cow that gets into our yard with her owners (and family) trying to chase her back to their pasture. i think she secretly loves being able to boast about how she was the only one eating our hay :D

Vtsnowangel

I love the way you share your stories, Vbrewer!

So nice that you now have a peaceful life! I'm looking forward to the photo & puzzle with Cat.

vbrewer64

@beyondwords we have a peaceful life way out here which is what we were craving after spending 16 years living with interstate noise. Loudest sound now is the cattle in that field beyond the treeline (one of whom occasionally gets into our yard) or a farmer running a tractor. It's great. BTW, cat was sitting on me quietly - she usually lays down, gets up, lays down, gets up - so I attempted a photo. It is a close up but it's not blurry and she doesn't have demon eyes, so I'm going to make a puzzle of it for you :) you were my good luck charm!

@vbrewer64, thanks for all those details. You must have an interesting life way out in the country with 3 cats and 2 dogs and deer and deerskins.... If you have a chance to get a photo of Cat so we can get a look at her, please do so for us. And I always welcome details along with photos/puzzles.
I grew up in NE Oklahoma and still have family in central Oklahoma. So I can imagine flowers in November some years. Yours look very real, not fake.
Again, thanks. -Patsy

Thanks for the detailed answer! I'm glad the dog with the deerskin was not evident. I did wonder if that was a mailbox.

vbrewer64

@beyondwords @ajandfran we live waaaay out in the country in arkansas. someone who visited one time said that 'it wasn't the end of the world, but he could see it from here' :D what you don't see is that the other dog is in the front yard chewing on a deer skin that someone discarded out in the woods somewhere after they dressed the deer. at least the head is not attached. a 'benefit' of living in the country.

we've had an odd fall temperature-wise, nights that get close to freezing but no hard freeze yet. the flowers almost look fake, right? beyondwords, shadow moved in with my sister because he and the dog with the deerskin couldn't work out their differences. he is living the super plush life now. this one's name is...Cat (what you get when the teenage boy has naming privileges). she is another one that won't stay still when i'm moving around, and almost all the pictures of her wind up with her looking possessed and blurred. she is very deadly when it comes to hair ties though :D :D

And where do you live that several kinds of flowers are still blooming even though most of the trees have already lost their leaves? Looks perfect for humans and this trio of felines.

ajandfran

What lovely cats! Where do you live that there are no other houses on the horizon?

beyondwords

And who is I-Don't-Do-Outside? Shadow? Does she deal with any indoor spiders as well?

vbrewer64

@janejig truth

She wouldn't want anyone to start thinking she was predictable, would she?

beyondwords

:-))
