No, beyondwords, she is content. Her mouth would be open with a squawk if she still hadn't been fed. They all have their patterns. Lucy will tap my face with a gentle paw.

At least this beauty walks and kneads. That's apparently enough to wake you up. So in this photo is Grace still waiting to be fed? Is that why she looks so attentive?

We share our bed with four cats. Very early many mornings one of our cats, Ginger, jumps on us, runs to another spot on the bed, and then jumps on us again and again. I can go back to sleep, but my partner gets up, feeds everybody, and then moves to the sofa. Ginger often comes back to the bed to sleep at my feet, and Ebony often comes back to snuggle and sleep.

She tries to take over by walking on/kneading my belly when she thinks I need to be up to feed her and Lucy.

She does indeed look comfortable. And very attentive at the same time. I bet this isn't the first time she's taken over this spot.
